Our family like most Indian families, is very particular about where the sweets for festivals and poojas come from! We have our sweet shop guy fixed for all of these occasions - be it the gheer (jalebi like sweet) for Holi, or the motichoor laddoo for poojas or the pista barfi for Diwali!
The one sweet that I’ve always looked forward to is pista barfi. Nothing defines Diwali for me the way those green coloured, silver covered, green squares do.
And this outfit here is an ode to my happy calories memories!
Super comfortable and chic lehenga and blouse set made with cotton handwoven in Andhra Pradesh and completely lined with 100% cotton
The blouse has a tie up detail at the back ensuring this isn’t a 1 time wear outfit. Use it over the years styling it the way you like
The lehenga comes with an elasticated back and zipper on the side for ease of wear. The tassels are detachable which means you can use them as hair accessory or on any other outfit for some fun!
There’s a pocket detailing on the lehenga to ensure there’s some place to hide all that mithai sneakily!
Care for me -
Pre-washed. Hand wash separately with a mild detergent. Wear more often.
